We are Sri Krishna and Dr. Anusha A.S., the husband-and-wife founders of House of Krisha™.
Sri is a journalist-turned-marketer and lifelong fragrance enthusiast. Anusha is an MDS Endodontist, educator, and an equally passionate lover of fine fragrances.
While our professional worlds are very different, we share a deep appreciation for the artistry of perfumery and the emotions that fragrance can evoke. House of Krisha™ was born from that shared passion and from a desire to create something meaningful together.
How It All Started
Our story began long before House of Krisha™ became a fragrance house.
We met as high school sweethearts and have spent much of our lives growing together, sharing dreams, celebrating milestones, and building a future side by side.
Throughout those years, fragrance remained a constant.
What began as curiosity gradually became appreciation. Appreciation became study. Study became craft.
Shelves filled with bottles. Conversations drifted toward notes, ingredients, and compositions. Fragrances became woven into our lives, not merely as products, but as memories. Markers of places visited, moments celebrated, and chapters we never wanted to forget.
Eventually, we found ourselves asking a simple question:
What if we created something of our own?
That question became House of Krisha.
Why "Krisha"?
Long before House of Krisha™ existed, Krisha was a name we held close to our hearts.
As teenagers dreaming about the future, we often spoke about the family we hoped to build one day. If we were ever blessed with a daughter, we knew exactly what we would name her: Krisha.
The name felt complete because it carried a piece of both of us—"Kri" from Krishna and "Sha" from Anusha.
Years later, when it came time to name our fragrance house, no other name felt as honest.
What made the choice even more meaningful was discovering the deeper significance of the name itself. With Sanskrit origins, Krisha is often associated with meanings such as divine, sacred, and graceful.
Those ideas resonate deeply with how we think about fragrance.
Not because perfume is sacred, but because the moments it accompanies often are.
A wedding day. A celebration. A reunion. A personal milestone. A memory that remains long after the moment itself has passed.
In many ways, House of Krisha™ is our attempt to capture those moments through scent.
Our Philosophy
For us, fragrance has always been more than something you wear.
It is one of the most intimate forms of self-expression—a quiet art that becomes part of your story.
That belief guides everything we create.
Drawing inspiration from the richness of Oriental perfumery and the comfort of gourmand accords, we create fragrances with depth, character, and individuality. Every composition is tested, refined, worn, discussed, and revisited until it feels worthy of carrying the House of Krisha™ name.
We are not interested in creating fragrances for everyone.
We are interested in creating fragrances that someone falls in love with.
Meet Storm
No introduction to House of Krisha™ would be complete without mentioning Storm.
Our self-appointed Head of Paw-fumery.
His contributions to fragrance development remain highly questionable, but his expertise in demanding snacks, supervising packaging operations, claiming ownership of shipping boxes, and keeping morale high is beyond dispute.
Every order is packed with care by us—and inspected from a safe distance by Storm.
